Ariana Bustos


Ariana Bustos is a senior at the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Arizona State University, where she majors in journalism with a broadcast focus and minors in justice studies. Bustos is in her last semester at ASU and plans on graduating in December 2018.

Prior to joining KJZZ as an intern, Bustos was a part of Blaze Radio at ASU and a reporter at Cronkite News Arizona PBS DC bureau. During her time in Washington, D.C., Bustos fostered an interest in politics and government issues. She was honored by the White House Correspondents Association and attended their annual dinner in spring 2018.

Bustos was born in the Bronx, New York City, but moved to Arizona when she was 8 years old. In her spare time, you can find her weightlifting, reading books or watching various TV shows.
